How does Sahaja Meditation benefit you?
Mentally. Emotionally. Physically. Spiritually.
Mentally, you'll experience better focus, increased concentration and enhanced stamina. You will achieve the state of thoughtless awareness - a place of complete silence and inner peace. Emotionally, you will enjoy better balance, a better understanding of yourself and others, and more self-control. Physically, every time you meditate, you will feel relaxed, calmer and rejuvenated. Plus, people who meditate have lower blood pressure, increased resistance to stress and improvements in metabolism, respiration, brain chemistry and heart rate. Spiritually, you will awaken your Inner Energy and become better in tune with your inner self, gaining awareness and a clearer understanding of the world and your place in it.
With regular practice, as the energy levels in your energy centers (also known as chakras) improve, you will also see the positive attributes associated with those chakras reflect in your personality in a gradual manner.
How is it practiced?
Sahaja Meditation is simple to learn and easy to practice - an introductory class lasts under an hour. For continual learning, we offer free classes every week. Rest of the days, you can practice on your own for about 10-20 minutes, once or twice a day. Regular practice will improve and enhance your experience allowing you to enjoy even greater benefits. Weekly collective sessions are recommended for deepening the experience.
Many people have experienced the state of thoughtless awareness the very first time they tried Sahaja Meditation. With practice, you will learn how to tap into your Inner Energy, giving yourself greater self awareness, better balance and a stronger sense of well being. Through the awakening of this Inner Energy, a flow of subtle cool vibrations is achieved, which nourishes and rejuvenates each and every cell of your body. Regular practice of meditation can bring sustained relief from short-term and chronic effects of stress, and stress related diseases.
